CTP - Greenslips

Here at GSInsurance we sell QBE Greenslips which have competitive premiums.
You can buy a greenslip from us over the phone using a credit card. Make sure you have your rego papers and drivers licence handy when you call.
The renewal then goes to the RTA electronically – no paper copy needed.

Also, for straight-forward renewals, we offer the extra service of helping you renew your rego on-line when you purchase your greenslip from us.
This offer extends to pensioners and those renewing using a credit card. Saves you a trip to the RTA!

Public Liability
Possibly the most important insurance cover you can have these days is Public Liability (P/L). Anyone who owns property or runs any kind of business should have this cover. If something goes wrong where a court finds that you are liable, the losses to you or your business could be immense.
Be careful, as having P/L cover for say, your farm, will not cover you for another type of business and visa-versa.

As far as personal P/L cover goes, a home contents policy will cover this.

Professional Indemnity
For those whose business involves providing advice to their clients, Professional Indemnity (P/I) cover is essential.
Some professions who should have this cover are Accountants, Financial Advisors, Agricultural Consultants, Solicitors, Bookkeepers, Travel Agents, Personal Trainers and many more.
Contact us if you require P/I cover, or if you think that you might.

Rain! Rain! Rain!...Water damage claims!
We have received quite a few claims for water damage to household walls and ceilings as a result of the heavy down-pours we have experienced this year. The lovely rain has tested many roofs, and found some of them wanting. Generally, your insurance should cover the resultant water damage to your home. However, unless the roof was actually damaged by say, lightning or a falling tree branch in a storm for example, its repair will probably not be covered by the insurance. It is seen as a maintenance issue if the roof is found to have an underlying fault that lets the rain in.

Monthly Installment option
Just a reminder that nearly all of our policies can be paid by monthly instalments for no extra cost.
Let us know if you would like to take this option at renewal.

All the best ‘till next time!
