REMINDER:
Crop Revision date 11th October 2010
Monday 11th Oct is the last day to revise the yield and values of your crops.
Allianz does not allow any change after this date.
CGU does allow a new crop or an increase of existing cover after this date – but no decrease.
Please let us know of your final revision of crops any time up to this date.

Fire Season Coming Up
With the amazing season we are having comes the increased risk of fire over summer.
There would be no better time to insure your stock and/or fences than now.
For around $300 per $100,000 value of stock, that’s the price of two ewes per 100k to buy some peace of mind over summer.
Don’t wait for the fire season to start, as there is a 48 hour delay for cover.

Harvest Contracting
Just a reminder that headers, trucks and other machinery that are insured on a Farm policy, are usually not covered for contract work.
Arrangements will have to be made if this is required – in some cases, a commercial machinery policy will be the solution.
Headers especially are expensive and risky –thus the extra caution taken by insurance companies.

Headers
Speaking of headers – you may want to check the type of cover you have for your header on your Farm Motor policy this year.
If it is covered only for Fire and Theft, (or not covered at all), I suggest you consider increasing the cover to Comprehensive.
The headers will be getting used more and in heavier crops this year, and hitting a tree or swallowing a rock can be a very expensive repair bill!

Keep Trundle Busy, win a Nissan for Chrissie!
Our business is one of many in Trundle who are participating in the above promotion for our town. Giving away a car is a first for Trundle!
Payment of every new or renewed policy entitles you to tickets in the car. (Please remind us if we have not given you tickets!)
The draw will take place at our Christmas Market Day on Friday 17th December, with monthly draws of other great prizes taking place in the lead-up.

Home Contents
We offer the service of keeping photos and copies of valuation certificates or invoices in your file here that document your home contents.
This is an extra precaution you can take to minimise delays if you need to make a claim for contents.
This is especially important for any unusual or valuable items eg jewellery, hearing aids, antique furniture etc.

All the best ‘til next time!
